i was wondering when you wanted to have this done? the reason i ask is because my husband is a landscaper/deck builder......he is really good......he isnt a contractor with decks but, he went to school as an estimater and was doing deck building on the side at the time he worked for the CH Carpenter Lumber anyways he usually gets his lumber from there which is high quality.......i dont know how he bids labor ect...but i could talk to him if this is a serious inquiry....he bid alot of decks and some people just think it was to expensive but, its not cheap for lumber and it is alot of work to build one..........let me know at ____@____.com S.

I'm not sure what part of the city that you live in, but we have used New Image Decks (I believe they are based out of Waconia or some Western suburb). Their prices were the best out of all of our bids, they came when they said they would be there, they dealt directly with our difficult home owners association, and we were extremely happy with their work. We have since moved and we will be having them build our new deck this spring. I also have had several friends who have now used them and they were very happy.
