discover card is an excellent credit card and has great customer service. I don't think people realize what a valuable tool credit cards are, as long as used properly.

Well, don't even consider first premier, I used them and they are a total rip off..I wound up in worse shape than before after all their fees! I highly recommend Orchard Bank! I've had that card for about 5 years-no problems! A very good choice for people looking to rebuild credit.

American Express (the original green card) - tried and true. A proud member since 93. And I agree with a comment made from another mom: credit cards are really great tools when used wisely. Best wishes!
