Searching for a Good Therapist in the Sugar Grove, Elburn, Batavia Area.

I am not going to go into very much detail, but my son has resently been diagnosed with a few mental health disorders and needs to talk to someone about them. We need recommendations for a good therapist that is great with children. Thank you.

What can I do next?

you might want to check at conley outreach in elburn. I believe that they have a list of therapists. you could also stop at the newly renovated sugar grove township building, the former library, on the corner of snow and main. They are also the offices of West Towns Human Services and they provide counseling services.

I don't know if Geneva is too far but Dr. Georgina Rao at Delnor is very good. You can find her on www.delnor.com using the doctor finder.

Susan Myket & Associates in Naperville. Dr. Janet Patton in her office is wonderful. The office is easy to find, right off of Route 59 north of Fox Valley Mall. Good Luck & best wishes to your son!!

Donna Boebel is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Elburn with 20 years of experience, primarily with teens and families, and a friend of mine. She has a home-based business, where she'll come to you when it works for your schedule and will work with your insurance company. You can reach her directly at ###-###-####.

Contact the school social worker or psychologist...they should have good referrals.

We're in Naperville and can see children-- http://www.ginaspielman.com

this may be a little beyond your preferred area, but Centennial Counseling group in St. Charles (on the east side of the river right on Main St./64). The therapists there are really great, especially Trude Holli--though i don't know what ages she treats. Good luck!!
