What can I do next?

There is not need to pay a seamstress. There is a 2 sided material tape at Walmart that you iron between the roll of the cuff and the pants while the pants are turned inside out. It is very simple and the tape is about 1$. It is in the crafts and sewing section.

Hi V., Many dry cleaners do basic alterations like hemming pretty inexpensively. Look in your yellow pages for someone close by. Hemming tape is a great tool, I've used it myself, but if these are work pants you may want a more finished result for wear and tear or for the professional look he may require.

there is a seamstress in the same plaza as Shells resturant in Brandon that does a great job at alterations. i think the name is Hans. (not sure, my mother always takes her stuff here.
