We went last year and stayed at the Radison Resort. It was very kid friendly and a great place to stay. They offer a shuttle to and from Sea World several times throughout the day. We loved it because we did not have to find a parking spot or pay to park. We did not use the vacation package because for us, it did not save us any money. We did get a 2 day park admission through the hotel, which did save us some if I remember correctly. Hope this helps.

Hello,
My family just went in April and we stayed at the Drury Inn. It was nice and they had a free full breakfast in the mornings and free cocktails in the evening along with a free dinner, like hot dogs, nachos baked potato bar, depending on the nite. It was a nice hotel and less expensive than the package prices. It was nice for a quick trip too....we only stayed 2 nights and went to sea world as well. It was a great time! They have a nice little pool with hot tub too with lots of restraunts close by and malls as well! Good luck to ya.

We are about to go to San Antonio for 3 days also from the 7th - 10th. We debated on Sea World, but we thought it would be too big for our 18 month old, so we decided on the zoo. We booked a Hampton hotel, but we may change to Homewood Suites. Let me know if you find any luck because we were kind of wondering the same thing.

I can't think of any Marriots or Omni Hotels near there. (I am from San Antonio.) I don't know how much time you're planning to spend at Sea World, but if you're going to spend more than a day there, you may consider just buying the Season Pass, which is about the price of two days. Plus, Sea World is open longer throughout the year now; so, if you get the pass, you'll be able to visit again...maybe for Halloween? :)

Anyway, it also depends where else you want to visit, how much time you plan to spend in the hotel, and what amenities are important to you about the hotel. I can think of a few nice ones around there, if you'd like any recommendations. Let me know! :)
