Sea World or Fiesta Texas
Which park would be best for children ranging in ages from 3 to 6, Sea World or Fiesta?
There is a group of us that want to take our children but we are not sure which park they would get the most out of.
Thanks for the input
So What Happened?™
Thank you all for the wonderful advice.
We are going to Sea World. We are so excited. Now we just have to figure out when and what time. I like the idea of going early or arriving at 4:00...both will work with nap time for the little ones...if they take one that day:-)
We thought about just taking the older ones to Fiesta later in the summer.
Thanks again!

My advice is Sea World all the way. It is educational and the lay out is roomy and good for small children.

Sea World is better for younger children the love the animals, the animal shows the arcade and the aquarium. Fiesta Texas is best for kids a little older like 7 and up. It is really all about dancing and sing shows and rides. I took my son when he was 8 and he would have preferred Sea World. At 10 I think he'll enjoy Fiesta Texas more. Have fun!

Sea world! I love Fiesta, but the kids rides are spread through the whole park instead of all together. Both have a great water park and my 3 yr. old loves to swim. I take her to sea world all the time and she never gets tired of seeing the animals. They also have a great kids area with sprinklers and some kids roller coasters.

Sea World! When my kids were a little older we'd get season passes. We'd arrive about 4, play in the water park and then go see all the night and evening shows. I'd bring pajamas and they would get into them in the car and fall asleep on the way home (we live in Austin).
Another GREAT thing to know is that their summer camps are AWESOME for the little ones. They have a mommy and me type camp and it is incredibly well run, and the information they teach the children is wonderful. We'd make it a family vacation and stay at a nearby hotel. The camp was in the morning and we'd do touristy stuff in the afternoon or stay and do the park. The older kid camps sound incredible too as they eventually get to disect aquatic animals and eventually get to work with the trainers (talking High School). Seemed like they switched to full day classes a little too soon, but the mommy and me aged classes were AWESOME!

Hi M.,
We have kids around the same age and 1 more a 18 month old. We went to fiesta Texas and the 4 year old couldn't ride on many rides. So we spent the most time in the pool which was fun while the older one went on rides with his Dad. But just last week we went to Sea world and they both could go on rides and see the animals. So I liked Sea World for this age better and wait for Fiesta Texas when they are a little older Or taller 42" is what the height is for most ages.
Enjoy they are both fun.
p.s. if you get a lunchable they have free kid tickets with the purchase of a adult ticket for Fiesta Texas right now. And if you go to Sea world the tickets are cheaper on line.

Definately Sea World. The shows are animal focused. Where Fiesta Texas is music shows...
Sea World is better suited for smaller children. AND they have a great waterpark.

I would definitely pick Sea World. It has a large play area for little kids that includes little-kid rides, a water play area and a large rope mountain with slides and tubes. They will have a blast. Also, the penguins and other animals really fascinate little ones. I found Fiesta Texas too crowded and too loud. Have fun!
