I just bought a Cricut paper cutter and was wondering if there was a group of people who scrapbook that use one. I have only been scrapbooking with a friend and now that I have this I would like to know a little more about it- learn to 'create' a little more. I live in St Paul and would love to meet others who scrapbook & maybe know a little more about the Cricut! Thanks.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks to those that responded. I am definitely going to the class at Michael's and will try emailing other mamas to see if anyone wants to get together. It would be fun to learn a little more about the Cricut & finally get more pages in the scrap books done!! Thanks to all of you!

I recently received a Cricut for my birthday and would love to learn more about how to use it. I joined the Cricut website for ideas and did find out the Michaels has classes on using your Cricut. I haven't attended one yet but hope to soon!

Hi,
I work at Michael's Arts and Crafts in Woodbury. The Cricut is a great die-cut machine. If you want to learn how to use it, we have "crop night" at our store. I believe it is every other Monday. Call our store at ###-###-#### and ask for the nights that we have it. April is the one who is there conducting the class. For a small fee, you can bring your supplies for scrapbooking and we have the paper cutters and some other supplies. The nice thing is we also have a Cricut and the Cuttlebug there for you to try and learn more about. April is awesome and she knows a lot about the Cricut. We have the Cricut Expressions system which is the larger machine that takes 12x12 paper. I know it would be very helpful to you to attend. You can get help with whatever you need help with. I hope to see you there.

Three of us in my scrapbooking group own a Cricut. I have not had nearly enough time to play with mine, but I would love to do more. We meet every second Saturday of the month at a church one person is a member of. They let us use the space for free. You can get more info on us by joining our Yahoo Group Creative Collective. My normal browser is down so I can't easily access the group tonight to give you the link but email me privately if you want more info.

Hi, D....

I got a Cricut for Christmas, so will be interested to see what you hear from folks. I do scrapbooking on my own, so am not currently part of a group. I have heard that you can take to Archiver's and places of that sort and use stuff in the workroom if you buy things there. There are a ton of great ideas on the Cricut website. Join the message boards, and you'll see all kinds of stuff. :) I will see what other replies you get, as I may be interested too.
Have a great day,
V.
