Is there anyway to get my child to go to another school district without actually moving? just curious, I am pretty sure the answer is no.

What can I do next?

One district does, sort of: Aurora district 129 sometimes accepts out of district tuition paying students, but that depends on whether they have the space, and I don't think you have a choice of which school they'll attend. You also have to provide transportation. The other area districts (Batavia, Napperville 203 & 204) do not accept out of district tuition paying students... believe me, I checked pretty extensively! We're in Aurora district 131, and our house is currently on the market because of the schools.

No. You must live in district because that's where your taxes go. As for the previous post, the only reason a child can go to the school where a parent works is because the parent also lives in district. Sorry!

No. When you enroll you have to provide proof of residency.

Just apply for a job at the school you want to send them to! :) Then your children can get in... There is one child in my sons school who lives out in Romeoville..But his mom works at the school....
