SAHM Ways to Dress up My SAHM Outfits?

Ok, I need to wear comfy clothes that I can move around in & play w/my baby.
I wear bermudas, capris, tee shirts, cute tops, mostly flip flops.
What else can I do to dress them up?
Sometimes I add earrings, bracelets, the big rings that are in style.
What else?
Thank you!

What can I do next?

I'm super active so black yoga pants are nearly my mom "uniform." I like tennis shoes best but have some dressier shoes that are pretty comfy that dress up a pair of jeans.

I DESPISE flip flops and capri pants. Those clothes just scream to me "HEY, look at me, I've totally given up!"

I ALWAYS have my nails done. I LIKE doing them and it makes me feel less "mom-ish." Keeping up with coloring the grey is important too. THAT'S an instant attitude adjuster for me. :)

I always have a ring or two on and earrings. It's amazing how a few little things changes EVERYTHING.

I use self tanner so if in case I'm running short on time I can just do my eyes and still look acceptable. (A little goes a long way.)

My SIL started this buisness just for this reason, I wear all her stuff, you should check it out http://curlyqoriginal.com/Home.html
I put them over plain white basic Gap t's or with cardigans. They are super light weight and don't get in the way like other large scarfs. They are fun and affordable.

Honestly, I think the one single biggest thing you can do that goes a long way to looking put together is having your hair cut regularly.

it's just not the clothes & accessories....you have to make a point to get out each day!

& if anything, I'd dump the flip flops....they're the most casual part of your outfit...unless they're really spiffy.

I always make sure to wear some jewelry with anything. I throw on a nice belt even if the pants don't need them to make it look like I took that extra minute. I can't stand flip flops and wear nice proper shoes and sandals, I think it looks like you put that extra effort in vs flip flops. I always do something nice to my hair and avoid just throwing it up into a scrunchy pony tail (I have waist length hair so it gets pulled back on hectic or hot days a lot)
One of the most important things I find it to make sure the clothes fit nicely and are flattering. A basic tee that fits well looks much more put together than one that doesn't.

I make sure everything is coordinated and well-fitting. I too love scarves or a nice necklace, always have my toes done (especially when wearing flip flops), and always wear enough makeup to feel awake and look put together. I think if you look put together, you feel more together, even when you know you absolutely aren't! =)

a good hair cut!!!
wear some make up = )
paint your nails.
I love costume jewelry for just these reasons...a few bangle bracelets or an over sized ring can really make an outfit.
I like cute shoes...you can buy tennis shoes in almost every color of the rainbow now = ) Same for flip flops!
