Sacramento Area Easter Brunches
Hi - My in laws are going to be in town for Easter, and I don't want to have to cook this year. Does anyone know of a good brunch in the area? Most of the big places (hotels, Cliff House, etc.) are already booked. I was thinking of a more quaint place; not too expensive :) Thanks.

Try some of the better hotels, they usually have affordable and wonderful Brunches. Most brunches on Easter are going to cost you about $30/person no matter where you go, just so you have a little heads up.
Happy Easter!

Hi T.,
Two excellent places if you don't mind a drive about an hour south are;
1. Legends - in Modesto. It's actually a part of the Harley dealership. The food an atmosphere are wonderful.
2. My favorite is the Four Corners near Oakdale. The amount and variety of food offered is awesome. They will keep your champange glass full too. It used to be about $16.99 per person.
Good luck. Happy Easter.

check out if Pasta Pomodoro has a branch near you.. they are a chain but the food is good and their brunch may be a little lower key than other locations. They open @9:30am and take reservations on parties larger than 6. Good luck.. M. in SF

California Fats in Old Sacramento has one of the most amazing Champagne brunches I have been to. It is nice because some of the food has an asian flare and there is also the standard cutting board, salads, etc.

We have eaten at the Freeport Bar and Grill most Easter Sunday's because they have an outdoor patio area that is great for small kids. They are not too pricey but I would call soon! You actually reminded me to call! You would not know this place was there because from the front and when you walk in, it looks like a bar but they take you to the backside of the building and serve a great Easter Brunch!

There is a little quaint place in Elk Grove called the Boulevard Bistro. It's on Elk Grove Blvd on the edge of old town. As I drove by yesterday I saw they have a sign advertising Sunday Brunch. I have heard that the food there is good, but I have never actually eaten there myself.
