He came for an estimate, scheduled the work & picked up the deposit. He made many excuses to keep delaying the work & basically never showed up, never completed the job, never answered phone calls after we were on to him & (of course) never refunded the $3,000. It would cost more in attorney fees to try to get the $$ back but my parents are still considering it.
