I have a borther-in-law that is in need of work..he does roofing and all in remodeling on homes.

CrossPoints Contractors - ###-###-#### Very Reliable and honest

We used Bert Roofing when we upgraded and replaced our roof about 4 yrs ago. Our house is 8 yrs old. A hail storm damaged the builder roof (HA HA builder quality SUCKS) and we upgraded.

Very pleased with quality, cleanup and standing by what they sell.

They won't be your loweest bid. They are not cheap. You do get what you pay for....

I, too, used Ameritex (Jess) and am EXTREMELY pleased with the result!! Would recommend him/them to ANYONE!!

J.,

I would highly recommend a Co. called Bry-Jo Roofing and Construction. They have helped many of my friends, and I never hesitate to refer them to my clients(I am a Realtor).
They have execellent customer service, are a member of the BBB, the Chamber and NARI. They are a family owned business ...they are honest, reliable, and just overall wondeful people. Their number is ###-###-####.

J.,

You did not mention what type of roof you are thinking of getting. So let me start there. We have a 7000 sq. ft. home with a very large roof. My husband spent hours and hours researching, and it came down to either slate or stone coated steel. Every other affordable material we looked at had known problems or had not been in the Texas market long enough. There's a long list of failed materials in Texas.

We selected stone coated steel for these reasons:

- on the market since 1957, with constant improvements
- ultra strong but lightweight; no need to reinforce your rafters or foundation
- class 4 insurance rating (highest there is); maximum discount
- won't burn
- basically hailproof
- longest transferable warranty of any material
- can be installed over your old wood roof
- no tear-off and no need to redeck (major environmental plus and no yard damage)
- major cost advantage
- adds significant insulation value
- ultra quiet in the rain
- looks great
- no leaks given the way the steel panels interlock
- same cost (or less) than the alternatives

The roofing company you use makes a huge difference.

We interviewed and got bids from the top 4 stone coated steel roofers in Dallas and eventually selected Horn Brothers. They did a great job and were a pleasure to work with. Many of our neighbors have since used them as well and have had similarly fantastic experiences. Call or e-mail Lance Johnston and tell him the Wilen's refered you. Here is his information.

call Jess Marshall at Ameritex Roofing! He is great and will come give you a free estimate! ###-###-#### or email ____@____.com

I got several names from my homeowners insurance agent of roofers that she worked with and recommended. They probably weren't the cheapest so you may want to get a few quotes from other places as well.
