Resort in Wisconsin

We are looking for a resort in Wisconsin. We would like to stay within an hour or two around Milwaukee and not the Dells. We have already been to the Dells too many times. Has anyone ever stayed at the Blue Harbor resort on Lake Michagan? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

We all loved Blue Harbor. the waterpark is more for younger children but my daughter still enjoyed the tube slides. The beach was beautiful. I am sure we will be going back.

We stayed at The Abby Resort in Lake Geneva. It's one of the nicest resorts there and they have a great restaurant and spa on site. And it's affordable by Chicago standards. Just beware -- that's where I went into early labor (5 weeks) with my son!

Have fun wherever you stay!

I stayed at Blue Harbor last fall. It is very pretty there with nice accomodations (we had a condo), but your teenagers would be bored there if they're used to the Dells! The water park was very small and pretty boring. It suited my 3 year old just fine, but it's not for older kids. We had previously been to the Wilderness several times, so we were used to a bigger more exciting water park, and Blue Harbor's was disappointing. Have fun with whatever you decide!

We stayed several times at the Grand Geneve in Lake Geneva, WI. It is a great hotel and downtown Lake Geneva has sooo many great things to do and see.

Good Luck,
Jen

Check out the Lake Geneva area. There are great resorts around there. One of my favorites is in Delavan. Lake Lawn Lodge.

Have a great time wherever you choose!
