Relocating,looking for the Best Public Elementary School.

I live in Rio Pinar and my kids will attend Deerwood Elementary. I have talked with several parents in our neighborhood and they have all said good things about the school. Even our real estate agent mentioned it was a good school while I was pregnant with our first child in 03. My oldest will attend next school year. It is an A rated school. My husband and I have discussed both pubic and private schools, but we are very happy with what we have heard from our neighbors too. I believe you can take a tour of the school. It is located on Econ. Trail inbetween Lake Underhill and Curry Ford. Good luck!!

The Seminole County schools are much better than Orange County. Red Bug Elementary and Rainbow Elementary are two very good elementary schools. This area is not very far from Winter Park - this is the Casselberry - Oviedo area.

I am not sure exactly where the 32825 zip code is? The best elementary schools in the Winter Park area are Dommerich Elementary, Lakemont Elementary, and Audubon Park Elementary.

Here is a good way to tell, try looking on www.greatschools.net this site lists all the public schools in each state. We live in the 32825 area, both of my girls are zoned for Lawton Chiles Elementary which use to be a very good school, I guess it is okay now. The best schools are in Seminole county. When you look on great schools check out the academics scores. This says something and I do realize that not all kids do well on tests. I use to be one of those kids, but still when seminole county has higher score than orange county, it makes you think.
The closest areas to us that are Seminole county are Oviedo & Winter Springs ~ about 15 to 20 mins away.

Hi!

I'm in AValon Park (zip 32828) and love it here. It's perfect for any family! The schools as I understand it are all in the A category. I don't want to move because I want my son and daughter to go here. Avalon elementry and i believe there is another one here too.
