Relocating to Rhode Island

Hey Mama's, My family and I are moving from Arizona to Rhode Island. I don't know much about Rhode Island but would love to find a community that is family oriented. A neighborhood with lots of young kiddos and an active group. Any suggestions of good neighborhoods or areas? Providence, Bristol, Warwich, E Greenwich? Any neighborhoods that have other little ones? Any suggestions would be wonderful THank you! :)

What can I do next?

We live in East Greenwich and love it. We are in a neighborhood(meadowbrook, tanglewood, quenns grant) which has lots of kids and is close to schools and town. There is also a great new neighbors group which has more activities than you have time for, including play groups. Hope you find what you are looking for.

If I were to live anywhere in Rhode Island I would pick East Greenwich. I have lived there since I was 7 years old and I have always loved it. I like that unlike all the other town in RI it doesn't have a "city" feel, just small town feel. Schools are small, teachers are good, and the houses are nice.

Hi K.,

Welcome to ri. I belong to a wonderful moms group you can check it out on meetup.com just type in kent county moms group.

Bristol, RI is very beautiful, they have a huge park that is right on the water. The town is very New England, every 4th of July they have a huge parade.
