Recycling Batteries - Lombard,IL
I have a bag full of batteries to recycle and I don't know where to take them.
I looked online and many places that used to recycle batteries don't do it anymore.
If you know of anyplace in DuPage county please let me know.
I don't want to have to throw the batteries in the garbage.
Thanks in advance!

Per website, household batteries are accepted. Consult above website for more details. Also check at IKEA stores. I believe my husband has dropped off those CFL compact flor light bulbs and maybe household batteries there too.

I think IKEA takes batteries for recycling. You can call the Bolingbrook location.
I am pretty sure Elmhurst Camera on Spring Rd in Elmhurst takes batteries for recycling.
I also think many Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Office Depot etc take batteries for Recycling as well.
You can also go to earth911.com to see where various recycling centers for different things (batteries/gadgets/electronics) etc are.
Thanks for taking care of the environment.
