I USE TO WORK FOR A MOVING COMPANY CALL A-AMERICAN MOVING & A-BEST WAY STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE TWO NAMES BUT IT’S IS ONE COMPANY. THE TYPE OF MOVERS THEY EMPLOY ARE NOT THE TYPE YOU WANT IN HOME MOVING YOUR BELONGING. ALL THE CALLS I RECEIVED ON REGARDING WAS JUST TOO MUCH FOR ME. THE OWNER WILL NEVER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING HE WOULD FIGURE OUT A WAY TO GET AROUND THE SITUATION. I HOPE YOU DON’T ENCOUNTER THEM OR ANY BAD MOVING COMPANY.

When we moved to the city a few years back we used North Shore movers. And in May we are moving to Deerfield and we have booked them again. They may not be the cheapest but they were fast and trust-worthy.

I have used Golans 2 Times within the last 3 years. They were great and on time. It cost me to move a house with big, heavy furniture, and big screen TV's about $600. They wrapped everything with their own blankets and about $100 of that was material (i.e. boxes, blankets, tape, and wardrobe boxes). If you want to save $ I recommend doing this your self. they were great. Good Luck With Your Move, V.

We used Raffi Movers 4 times in a year and half (don't ask). My sister and my parents used them too. We will be calling them to move some other stuff in a month also. THey are great and very careful. Nothing broken. They are out of Skokie, I believe. We have a 4 story townhouse in Chicago and these guys carried up very heavy bedroom furniture. IN addition, we hired a couple of guys to pack my kitchen and some other things and I could not have packed like they did. Let me know if you can't find the # and I can dig through our papers.
