Recommended Doctors and Hospitals ...j

What pediatricians and hospitals would you recommend? Also has anyone heard of Dr Eugenio Vano off of Lakemont?
Does anyone know of a good GI, OBGYN, Endocrinologist, Allergist, and internal medicine doctor in this area? THANKS! Also what hospitals are good and which ones are not?

What can I do next?

First of all, let me applaud you for having 5 kids. WOW! One is enough for me with 2 big dogs.

Anyways, I have been happy with Dr. Cobian (female) at the RDV Sports Pediatrics in Maitland area. And my ob/gyn is Dr. Jack Wilson in Winter Park. Both my mother and I have gone there for years.

Hi Angie,
My kids are 13 & 11. I have been taking them to Altamonte Pediatrics since their birth - we all like the Doctors and assistants. All Florida hospitals have great reviews.
Hope this helps!

Dr. Julie Bauer is an excellent endocrinologist! I have many complications from a severe case of celiac disease and she's been treating me for sugar level disorders and thyroid disease. She's very thorough and very nice. Also my allergist is Dr. Broussard-Perry. She is fantastic and treats children as well. Very knowledgeable and like Dr. Bauer, VERY personable. For GI I would recommend Dr. Ruderman...ALSO, very thorough. I highly recommend all three of these! As I said I have a severe case of celiac which has caused numerous complications including severe neurological/cognitive malfunctions. Dr. Martin Menkin, neurologist, was the doctor who finally got the right diagnosis with the help of Dr. Ruderman and I am finally, after two years, getting my thinking, talking and walking functions back! ALL GREAT DOCTORS WHO KEEP AT IT TILL THEY FIND THE ANSWER!

I have been taking my son's to Dr. Vano for 11 years. We love him! It's his private practice and your children will always see him. No PA's, no Nurse practioner. They see Dr. Vano every time. I live in the Avalon area and I take the drive to Winter Park I refuse to get a Doc who's closer. He always returns my calls, takes his time & answers all our questions and his office is right next to Winter Park Memorial Hospital. When I need appoitment they always get us in and I have never in 11 years waited more than 15-20 min. to see him. I have showed up without an appointment and he's seen us
OBGYN Dr. Jakubowski in Winter Park on goldenrod & university. He has delivered my 2, my sister inlaws 2 babaies and my brother in laws wife goes to him too. He is smart and you will also see only him. You never wait long.

Hi Angie.

I can help you with a great Endocrinologist. I have been seeing a Dr. Huhn for many years. She is wonderful, friendly and personable. Well, she knows her stuff too! She is off of Colonial and say Crystal Lake. It is behind the Target there if you are familiar with the area. Her number is ###-###-####. Would you mind letting me know if you get any suggestions on Pediatricians and ObGyns? I am pregnant with my first and currently am seeing an ObGyn and not happy. I went with a practice and think I would rather try my luck at an individual or smaller practice. I am going to use Florida Hospital off of Princeton. I have a great Fertility Specialist and she steered me clear of one hospital that she did not recommend. Other than that all of the hospitals seem to be great. Friends recommended the one I have chosen and the Winter Park Florida Hospital. Hope that helps. Good luck. R.
