Recommendations Regarding Prams/stroller

Get the Mutsy if you think you're going to have a average to smaller sized baby. I wanted to get the Mutsy but my baby boy is pretty big, (he weighed 19 pounds at 2 1/2 months). I had a girlfriend warn me that it's not a good design for large babies; her daughter outgrew the carrycot at 5 months and before the baby turned one, she was getting uncomfortable in the pushchair.

To accommodate for a big baby, I went with the Bugaboo Frog, and love it. We had to travel interstate during the first month of his life and needed a system that would be comfortable and versetile enough to double as a bassinet while we were away from home. The Bugaboo held up nicely, is very comfortable, and has great resale value when I'm done.

I actually love the Phil and Teds stroller. Easy to push and use. And especially great if you plan on having any other kids as you can buy a doubles kit for it.

We have the Bugaboo Frog and have loved it! Our daughter is now 2.5 and weighs over 35 pounds - and the stroller is still going strong! I've even used it in lieu of a jogger for my long walks. We've taken it to Hawaii and walked on the beach and over lava rocks. You can get attachments so you can use your baby seat with it, and if you also have a toddler you can use the riding board attachment for kids up to 45 pounds. BTW, Bugaboo's Bee stroller looks really neat too, though I have not tried it. Happy strolling!

I cannot say enough about the MacLaren.. THe most amazing stroller company. Go to a few stores, you can type in Maclaren and find the closest dealer. Try out a few models and then get on Craig's list for a used one, since they rarely 'use out', and are sort of expensive.
