Hola Amigas,
Since my daughter was born, I've had melasma, large dark discolorations on the cheeks and forehead. I am Latina, and it seems common in our group, although others can have it too. My dermatologist gave me a cream called Triluma, which worked for a while, but it has stopped working and even reversed a bit, even though I use a strong sunscreen.
I am wondering if any of you have had this problem and what has worked for you. Some of the options that I am considering are: Obagi cream, BioSkinRejuvenation, microdermabration, laser treatment. Please let me know if you have experience with any of these treatments or others that I have not considered.
(With all due respect, please do not try to sell me Arbonne, Melaleuka, Shaklee, etc. I am hoping to hear about personal experiences from other Moms with this problem, no offense). Thank you!

Look into the Even Better line by Clinique. I am seeing results after only 2 weeks.

I have the same problem. I have tried Paula's choice, Triluma and a few other's I don't remember the names of mostly because they didn't work. I have been looking for a product called Alpha Hydrox that is supposed to be really good - it seems like I will have to order on the interenet. I am also considering Fraxel laser but I have to wait a little due to the cost. If you find something that works please let me know. Good luck to you.

Hi there!
Please contact me. I am with Rodan + Fields Dermatologists. Not trying to sell you. They developed a clincally proven solution to sun damage -- dark spots, hyperpgmentation. Obaji is very expensive and I know 3 women who used Obaji and like Reverse (from Rodan and Fields much better.) Also, there are no side effects as expected with other treatments....
Save yourself money -- try this first. You do not have to stay at home for two weeks while your face peels. This is what I hear. This could be very effective for your skin problems. It is worth a shot. my cell is ###-###-####
I hope I can help you. That is what this is all about...and one of the reasons I do this. We have dermatologic nurses on staff that we can consult about this as you try the product. There is a 60 day guarantee you will see results...not much to lose??? my web: http://avasapolli.myrandf.com -- but contact me first to discuss.

I am not latina, however I have a question...are you on a hormone or birth control pill??? When I am pregnant or on the pill I have Melasma, when I'm not I seem to go back to normal...I still have a few "shadows"...but nothing a light foundation doesn't cover....good luck and let me know if a cure comes your way :)
