Recommendations for Family Practice Dr in Eagan

We moved to Eagan in August so I'm not really familiar with the doctors in the area. My OB doctor is with Allina so I was looking for recommendations for a family practice doctor with Allina for my son (he's due in a few weeks). Any feedback? Thanks!

What can I do next?

I take my daughter to Pediatrics and Young Adult Medicine in Eagan. We see Dr. Julie Saxton who we really like. There are many other doctors through the practice and all are great you just have to find the one that you personally like the best. The great thing about them is you can call 24 hrs/day and talk to a doctor personally. You dont talk with a nurse first, you actually get your doctors cell phone or the doctor that is on call. It has come in handy a few times for us. If you have any questions let me know. B.

I have taken my daughter to Park Nicollet Clinic next to the hospital in Burnsville. My daughter's seen Dr.Devries since she was born. My daughter is now 5. She is AWESOME! Besides being a pediatrician she has expertise in other areas of pediatric medicine. She goes over and beyond. I won't bring my daughter anywhere else. We have never had to wait for our appointments they are right on time.... My daughter was premature and at her office every other week for a few months and every month of her first year. I've spent plenty of time in this office and have NO complaints. If Dr. Devries was filled up and we needed a last minute appointment I liked all the doctor's there as well. ###-###-#### I've also taken my daughter to their pediatric opthamologist in the same clinic and loved that dept. as well. Everything is in one building x-ray, lab,eye dept. mental health dept. dermatology dept. It's awesome.

Dr. Carolyn Borrow is one of the best Doctor's I've ever encountered. She's very professional and polite. I noticed someone else did reccomend her as well, they are speaking truthfully when they say she is hard to see, as she is quite popular and does have a large amount of patients. I had to drive from SSP to Eagan for each Appt because I needed evenings and she only worked evenings in Eagan. But we continued to do so. The only 'trouble' we had was once we had our son, the wait got a bit too long for an infant to patiently sit for the appointments so we did end up switching to a local Dr. in West St. Paul, Dr. Dufort, who also an extraordinary Doctor as well. Good luck with your decision, and I give Dr. Borrow the highest reccomendation.

Congrats on the expectancy.
We're currently expecting our second, three months along.

Kind Regards,
Savannah
