We also go to Pediatric Care Specialists and LOVE them. We see Dr. Wichman, but have also seen a few of the others when the girls have had colds, and so far every one has been wonderful. Dr. Wichman has two kids who are about 4 and 2, I think, so he's right there with us (our girls are 3 and almost 1). The nurses are fantastic - when you call with concerns and need advice, they will be able to help you decide if you need to bring your little one in or wait it out. They have Saturday hours during flu season which we were grateful for when our baby girl had RSV. Also, if you are planning to have any more kiddos, they have a lactation consultant on staff who is great, too. Here's their website: http://www.pedcarespecialists.com

Dr Kauffman at College Park Family Care Center off of 199th and 69 hwy is a good Pediatrician. There are others in CPFCC with several offices in KS. We go to the one on 112th and College and have liked most of the doctors there but we see Family practice physicians. The main reason I like their facilities is the staff is friendly, they have just about everything you need right there in the practice or close by so you aren't driving all over the city for xrays, blood work, or other tests. They have a lot of specialists in the practice as well. More convenient to have in one place. Easy to get same day appointments and also has acute care hours available when the regular office hours are closed.

Premier Pediatrics -- 8675 College Blvd. (College & Antioch). Two great physicians, Dr. Bush & Dr. Winburn. ###-###-####. Walk-in clinics, nice office & staff. www.premierforkids.com

I second Premiere Pediatrics- Dr. Winburn is wonderful as is Dr. Bush!

Dr. Slaymaker at Village Pediatrics is AWESOME! The nurses and receptionists are great also. They have separate sick and well waiting rooms too. I love them!

We use Pediatric Care Specialists located behind St. Luke's South. We go to Harvey Grossman and he is awesome!!! Their practice is pretty big with a lot of docs to choose from, which can be good and bad, but so far it seems to work for us. Even when I have to call in last minute, I have ALWAYS seen Dr. Grossman and have never had to be referred to another doc in the practice, I like that a lot. If it happened, that would be okay, but it's nice to have that fluidity. I feel like they are always current on what's going on and he will always take time out to answer questions and I never feel rushed while he's there. Plus the nurse line is really great too for when you don't know if you should make an appointment or not and they always give great advice.
