My husband, myself, my adult son and my 3 1/2 granddaughter are looking for a personal recommendation for a bed and breakfast (a bed and breakfast of which you have stayed at) that caters to children. We are needing two double or queen beds in the same room. We would like an outside pool, porch with rockers and a swings that overlook the hill country where the deer and the antelopes play. Would also like a playground with swings, slide and outside play toys.
I always use tripadvisor.com any time I am traveling. there you will find reviews from hotels, b&b's, to resturaunts. Check that site out and see what you can find. I have traveled to Fredricksburg but did not stay there so I personally don't have any recommendations but I would recommend using the site I mentioned.
I have stayed in some places there like you describe. I do not remember the names of the places but I found them by typing in the computer fred bed and brerakfast and a BIG list came up and from that list I was able to narrow down my search based on what I wanted. You will probably be hard pressed to find 2 beds in one room but you can get 2 rooms in a house or rent the whole house! We stayed in one that was on the main strip a few miles out that was GREAT. No playgroud, but hottub and the view was super! Had 3 bedrooms and was clean! We got the whole house!

My husband and I stayed at the Meyer Bed and Breakfast in Comfort, TX (very close to Fredricksburg). While we did not have our kids with us on the trip, there were many children there and it seemed like it would be fun for them. They have a pool, and a tire swing hanging from a huge tree. There are deer everywhere, you are guaranteed a good look at them every day. The unit that we were in had lounge chairs and hammocks right out back and others had rockers or other seating available.
