Rebate Checks

If you did DD with your return all of them should be out by the second. I was hoping for ours yesterday too. they are still going out in order of the last two digits of you SSN. Starting with 00. I dont know much more then that. if you go to google and type in rebate checks they can give you all sorts of info. I think they are being a bit shady though saying that you will get 600 per person and 300 for every kid under 17. that isnt really the case it is based on what yougot back from your TR. So if you still owe money you may not get anything back.

We were supposed to have received ours Monday but as of today (Wednesday) still have not seen it. I just looked at the IRS website, and now they are saying it won't be until Friday. You might want to check the website to see if your date has changed as well.

Go onto www.IRS.gov. There is an excellent section dealing with the economic stimulus check. If you filed your taxes electronically and received your refund by direct deposit, your rebate check will be deposited electronically according to the last two digits of your social security number beginning May 2. The deposits are made each Friday thereafter. If you had your initial tax refund mailed to you, the checks will be mailed at a later date. It's a very informative site.
