Reasonable Place to Get a Hair Cut?

I am looking for a reasonably cost place to get my hair cut in the area of State line to Metcalf and 75th to 119th. I want one of those places where you can find someone who does a good job and when you leave there you don't have to run home to fix your hair before you are seen by anyone. Someone who can remember what cut you want, give suggestions and style it without charging a ton of $$$..... if that exists. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I know you wanted a place off State line to Metcalf and 75th to 119th. But the place I go to I would highly recommend, it's off the Plaza and so worth the drive. I just recommend a coworker to them she just got a very bad haircut that was uneven and looked like a four year old cut her hair. She ened up going to my girl that cuts my hair and it turned out great!

It's called Bangs 1115 W 47th Street, Kansas City, MO 64112. Their haircuts average $30.00. I see Whitney

They really listen to what you want but they will also be honest if a style isn't going to work for your hair/face etc. and will suggest other styles that might be similar.

I know this sounds lame, but I have always had good luck woth two different places..Fantastic Sams (I go to the one in Raytown--since that's where I live) or the Smart Cuts in the Lees Summit Wal-Mart..I realize both of these places are out of the area you mentioned, but with both of these places do what you ask, they don't go "Oh let's try this.." then go for it before you have a chance to reply. Both plasec charge in the area of 12.95 for a hair cut that's with an awesome scalp massage. I don't like the "pricy" places never had good luck in them (I have natrually curly/ wavy hair and some people don't know how to cut it quite right, but the places I mentioned know just what to do.)

Good luck!

I go to Upper Echelon in downtown Olathe. Rachelle is the owner and she cuts my hair. She only charges $20.00 for a great cut and she is worth the drive. I have been going to here for 3 years and she cuts my little man's hair too!

Hey M.!

I go to the Hair Room at 135th and Quivera, might be a bit far. But I see Jonelle, and for a full highlight foil, cut and style, she only charges me $65. I've never only had her cut my hair, so I'm not exactly sure of those rates. She's been doing hair for over 15 years, and I've been really satisfied. She also only charged me $5 to cut Nicole's hair. (She didn't wash it, but I was getting the exact same cut for her from other people for way more than that!) Good luck though. It's definitely hard to find someone you trust to do your hair...
