It's been Halloween all day, and not once have I seen anyone ask:

What is your family dressing up as for Halloween? Do you and your husband dress up too? What are the kids going to be?

Are you going trick or treating?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN :)

I'm not wearing the same costume I wore this weekend, so I don't think I'll dress up tonight, but my husband is going as the same guy (see profile picture)... Emmy (8) is going to be a Skelabride (that's my girl!), Madison (6) is going to be Supergirl (totally her!), and Roman (22 months) is going to be a dinosaur, which is 100% appropriate for him, LOL!!

What is your family dressing up as? I want to see pictures tomorrow!! :)

What can I do next?

ETA: Hubby will be an overworked doctor--the same costume he wears everyday, and will be staying at the hospital until after all the fun is done :-(

ETA2: Their pic is on my profile

Im not dressing up, im too pregnant for that. My Oldest(9) is going to be a pretty vampire. My youngest (3)will be donning a lab coat, test tubes with colored water in them with spiral goggles and wild gray painted hair. Weve been saying mad scientist but she insists she will be a "scary one"

I think my unborn boy is going as a tap dancer...........judging by antics this last week.

P - 8 yo girl - is Robin Hoodie
O - 9 yo boy - is a gothic jester

I will be wearing a pig nose and a blanket. DH shaves his head bald so he's wearing my mom's old wig, it looks like real hair so only people who know him will realize he has a costume on - it's the best I could get out of him, lol.

My son, 4.5 is going as Bob the Builder and I'm going as a giant sunflower to represent Sunflower Valley, where Bob and his trucks are building now.

Weird story though - I wrote "Sunflower Valley" so people would know what the heck I am, and Bob's slogan "yes we can" and some woman made a snarky comment about it cause it was a political slogan 2 years ago?!? Bob's been saying it for AGES! Really? A political sunflower? WOW! Too wacky!

Hubby and I went to a Halloween party Saturday night, and we were the 1%. The suit, top hat, pipe, fancy gown, fur coat, long black gloves, fascinator, jewelry overboard went over great. We had fake money sticking out of pockets and my handbag. We only drank out of crystal goblets the whole night. And we took 40% of the leftover candy.

Haven't decided if I am or not yet... I was Mrs. Potato Head last year, pretty cool costume, and didn't get one this year... so maybe if my 5 year old wants me to dress up I will... He's Iron Man again this year, and my middle son, 14, is either gonna be batman, or something with a cape... my daughter will probably be a Kitty or something like that... she's 16, has too look cute..
and hubby isn't sure if one of the mask is too scary for little one so debating if he should be Flash again, probably be FLASH...

My eight year old is some some sort of Zombie Doctor thing. Actually I am a little annoyed He had his school party and "parade" on Friday so they were not allowed to dress up today ( it is HALLOWEEN TODAY) we had trick or treaters on Saturday? I told them to come back on Monday (I really didnt have any candy yet) the whole holiday seem discombobulated this year. Anyway I will put on my scariest mask and turn on the fog machine and make the best of it.

My daughter is going as Ariel, but, in her words, "Ariel as a princess, NOT as a mermaid - with feet!" But hubby and I are not dressing up ourselves. it's just too darn cold here - currently 46 degrees! I guess we could be Eskimos! I feel bad for all those kids who might have to go trick-or-treating in all the snow they got out east!

My girls are going as Glinda the Good Witch, and Dorothy Gale, from the Wizard of Oz. They have been planning their costumes for weeks, even down to Toto in a little wicker picnic basket! My younger daughter wanted me to dress as the Wicked Witch of the East (gee, thanks, sweetie!), and she wanted her daddy to be my flying monkey. Hahahahaaa... But in the end, Mommy and Daddy are not going to dress up. ;)

Looks like we are going to have a beautiful evening tonight, too, thank goodness! Beautiful, warm weather, so short sleeved costumes will be okay.

My 3 y/o is a policeman and my 7 y/o is a banged up skateboarder. I have a cute halloween shirt (not that anyone will see it b/c it's so cold here!) and my 7 y/o bought me a headband with bats on it and said I have to wear it since I am not wearing a costume :) My husband is meeting us after hunting all day so he'll be in camo, so he'll kinda be in costume.
Happy Halloween!

My 9yo is Doctor Who (Tennant), and I'm (not so) Little Red Riding Hood. Which... if you're a geek, will pull the 'Bad Wolf' reference. He wanted me to be Rose... but that's not going to happen :)

At Trunk or Treat on Sunday night we were the Peanuts ghosts.
I took plastic tablecloths and cut head holes for me and my 16 yo, we were the Lucy and Patty witches. My 14 cut all sorts of holes in hers for Charlie Brown, my hubby wore a sweatsuit and a cap with ears and I pinned Woodstck to him. My 10 yo went as Franklin, a ghost with a coonskin cap.
We decorated the van with orange plastic tables cloths and cut eye and mouth shapes out of a black table cloth, a green bucket on the top.
THen we played the movie at our table.

It's Nerd Herd day at my house! All the girls in the office dressed up as nerds and my two daughters (9 & 13) are nerds too. Hubby is the only Scrooge. He's not dressing up. But I can't take the polyester pants and bow tie any longer so I'm not dressing up to take the kids out trick or treating.

My hubby is going to be a bloody rodeo clown.
I'm going to be some kind of monster thing...scary mask and full black gown.
My daughter, 12, is going to be some demon thing she has designed herself.
My son, 9, is going to be a warewolf.

I usually go with hubby and kids to TOT for a block or so, then I high-tail it home to hand out candy. We live in a high LDS community and will easily get 300+ kids tonight. We were planning on dressing really scary but will plan for it better next time. I do put my stereo outside and play the really scary music and I will open the door scary so we'll see what happens.

Have a fun and safe night R.!!!
