Hi R.!
I have found that the women I have known who are in your position benefit by asking local businesses for "take home" work when available. For instance, one lady I knew went to a company that did mass mailings once per week. She arranged to bring home the letters, stuff the envelopes, and sort them into the piles that are needed to do bulk mailing (the company taught her what the postal service wanted). Also, I knew a lady who could take her children to the office after hours and do the vacuuming and clean the bathrooms. These companies wanted to do that because they were paying another employee $20/hour plus benefits to do it, and these women they only had to pay minimum wage. You probably already know what the rules are with disablility payment in terms of how much you can make and still get disability; jobs like these are great for that.
I am at home with my 5 kids and began my own business with Life Force International. There are also other legitimate companies out there that aren't get-rich-schemes, even though they pay out on multiple levels. However, it sounds like you need linear income, meaning you do work and then you get paid at the end of the week. Legitimate MLM companies can pay that way, but you need time to build the volume, which I'm sure you'd like to have more income right away!
I wish you only the best as you continue your job search, and hope you hook into something real soon! I'd be interested in knowing what you find when you do!

Hi R.,
I was wondering if you found what you were looking for yet? I am with a very ligit company that has been in business for almost 23 years now. I love that with my business I am honestly at home all the time and my kids are right by side! And the best part is I'm not selling anything or carrying any type of inventory. If you'd like to get more information (totally free and no obligation) just let me know!
Good Luck and God Bless! I remember my years of searching... it's disheartening, but don't give up! You'll find the perfect solution!

R., There are many legitimate jobs available for you when working from home. The list can be narrowed by your interests and abilities. You mentioned you have some disabilities preventing your from working. Perhaps that is the place to start. What can you do? What do you enjoy doing? You also mentioned you are going to school. That is wonderful. What field of study? Perhaps there is a work from home opportunity within the field. I have many friends who work from home. One is a day care provider and has a in-home day care. Another friend is a medical transcriptionist. She sits at her computer 8 hours 5 days a week typing. Granted, she had special classes to be trained for this position. Another friend was trained as a K-12 school teacher and now works from home as an Online Learning Instructor. Personally, I have my own business from my home as a Mary Kay consultant. So, there are many choices. If you would like to talk further please zip me a message. I'd love to explore your options with you. Best Wishes.
