Ready to Wean but Baby Wont Drink Formula
any tips or tricks out there to get my baby to actually drink the darn stuff? She's 8.5 months old and will drink juice or water from a sippy or bottle, but she won't drink formula. I've been trying Nature's Only Organic (because i've been told it was the best tasting). Any other opinions on a formula that your baby preferred? Thanks in advance!

I used Enfamil, but my boys got both the breast and formula from birth so it was never an issue getting them to switch back and forth. I would try what I did when switching from formula to milk. Start by mixing mostly Breast milk with a small amount of formula in a sippy. Slowly over the next couple of weeks increase the amount of formula so she can get used to the taste change slowly over time. Try having someone other than you do the replacement feedings so she does not try to guilt you into caving in and giving her the breast.
Be prepared to face this challenge again in 2 or 3 months when you try to switch from formula to milk.
Best of luck

Do me a favor, ignore Leah's ignorance. It's YOUR choice to wean, and no-one else gets to tell you that's wrong. Moving on.
If you pump mix breastmilk and formula in a bottle. Do a 1/4 formula, 3/4 breastmilk ratio for a while, then move to 1/2 and 1/2...and so on.

Do you pump at all? If you do, start with putting breast milk in the cup, and then add a little formula to the breastmilk. As she drinks it, add a little more and then a little more until she is drinking the formula.
It you aren't pumping, I guess I'd try different formulas until she'll take it. It also might be that she won't take formula until you totally wean her from breastmilk.
Good luck!

I have to say that this will be a tough road with trying to wean a baby who is not ready.
One day at a time.
I wish you and your little one the best.

As others have said I think the best thing to try right now is mixing some breast milk with some formula. At first you might need to so something like and 80/20 split and then gradually add more and more formula. I thought I was going to have to go this with my son but he surprised me.
Also you might want to try the premixed formula. For a while my son would only drink the Similac premix, but not the similac that I would mix up. Eventually things worked out.

Put her favorite juice in the formula-it will taste like a smoothie

I would recommend not giving her juice. Babies do not need that.
Even water, should not be more often than nursing/Formula.
Just try another brand.

I agree with mixing part breastmilk and part formula for a few weeks. Slowly decrease the amount of breastmilk you add on before you know it she will be drinking formula.
When I had to wean my daughter from the breast earlier than expected her Doctor gave us samples of formula to try. Ask.
