When we took our daughters to an in home day care, we paid $20 per day per child. This included breakfast, lunch and a few snacks. Good luck.

Recently as I have been looking for childcare, I have found rates as low as $20 per child up to $45 per child. So I have found a great deal of variety...some include meals and activites and some are basic babysitting.

Hi L., I do in home child care and I charge $125 a week. I think the price varies from one location to the next. I do a preschool program also so I think $125 a week is a good rate. That price also includes meals and snacks. I am located in St Peters MO.

My previous sitter charged me $18.00 per child, since we have switched, I currently pay about $25.00 a day for each child. I do know that with my sitter if she only watches one day here and one day there that she charges $40.00 a day (which is way above the St Charles Co average). There is a website out there www.childcareaware.org that could give you some great info. There is also a chart of the amounts for each county. Hope this helps.

I pay $100 a week per child. She provides breakfast lunch and snacks. We provide our own baby food, formula and diapers for our 8 month old.
We get 1 week vacation a year and 10 sick days. We don't have to pay for these days. She gets 1 weeks vacation too.

I am a child care provider. It depends on the hours and the ages of the child as well as the location.

Rates depend on location, length of babysitting, and the age of a child. Infants and toddlers are more expensive. In the Columbia area, toddlers out of diapers can go as low as $15-$20 a day, total of $75-$100 a week. Infants and toddlers in diapers are usually $125-$145.

However, if you compare the rates to actual day care centers; they charge $170 for infants and toddlers in diapers and about $140 for toddlers out of diapers.
