My favorite thing to use with all 3 of my kids is the Lanolin breast cream. I'd use a wet washcloth to clean things up real quick and put that on. A little goes a long way and it's safe if they lick any of it off. It worked like a charm! My oldest was the worst with rashes from drooling and teething. The cream worked wonders!

The best thing is to just keep it dry. Maybe try a mild chapstick not on her lips but just on the sore spots to help repel the moisture. Sorry I can't be of more help.

hi belle. totally normal. what we did:
1. keep chin dry as much as possible. dab with dry cotton cloth that has been laundered in non fragrance detergent etc. with extra rinse cycle.
2. dab chin with aquaphor to keep it moist and provide a barrier with drool.
3. most important, don't worry. it does go away either with care or naturally on its own with time as the drooling subsides.
4. as she gets older, when she drinks citrus, wipe the area with a damp cloth so the citrus does not settle into the skin.
hth.

As others said, yes, it's normal; and for the rash, dry off her chin and apply some protectant like Aquaphor, Chapstick, or Vaseline.

maybe overnight you might want to try my Mylanta trick ... mylanta over the rash some desatin or vasaline covered with a bandaid ... I say overnight so she does not take off the bandaid. good luck never had this issue only bum rashes.

Keep it as dry as you can & when it was my DD, we put a little vasceline on it at night to keep the slobbers off of her. But keeping it dry from drool is best for her. Good luck Mama!
