Quick- Tip Landscapers??

My husband owns a landscape construction company and tips are not customary. On occasion, a customer will give him a giftcard for Christmas or at the end of a VERY LARGE project. It is not expected at all. If he is working really late or doing a large job, customers will occasionally buy pizza for him and his crew. Or, if it is really hot outside, sometimes customers will bring drinks out to them. None of it is expected, definitely not customary- he has been doing this for over 15 years.

ETA: As someone else said- pay your bill promptly and that is tip enough! Bill collecting is my husband's absolute least favorite thing about his job.

I have never tipped our landscapers nor have I ever heard of anyone tipping them. My landscapers come back year after year so I think they are satisfied with what I pay them. ( I pay what they charge:)
I do however always make sure I mail them their check the day I receive their bill.

You are already paying a bill. Do not tip them.

I don't tip but I do give them a year end/holiday gift card to a local (fast) eatery as a thank you for their hard work all season.

I've never heard of tipping, but there's nothing wrong with offering them lemonade or cookies.

They just finished mine a half hour ago. No, don't tip them. They are paid by their employer. And I pay that company a lot for what they do.

We never gave them tips, but we always gave them bottles of water while they worked.
