My daughter is the flower girl in a wedding next month. The bride is still undecided on the dress color. Should it match the bridesmaid dresses or should it be white with maybe a touch of color. (colored sash, or trim) Whats your opinion?

What can I do next?

I've seen both ways, my daughter was in my cousin's wedding and her dressed matched the brides (my cousin). One of my sisters had the flower girl match the bridesmaid, when my other had all the women (flower girl and bridesmaids) in off-white like her. It was very beautiful even though it sounds like it was plain. Elegant is more of the right word.
Either way...

I had two flower girls and their dresses matched the bridesmaid dresses. Same color and material. They were so adorable! I like the idea of only the bride wearing white.

My daughter wore a white dress with a red sash. My bridesmaids wore red. I bought a communion dress - super fancy and less than $50.

Match the brides maid dresses she will look much more colorful. An make things look better since she is not going to be dresses up with make up etc. like the bride in only white. So make sure she has a colorful dress matching.

My daughter was a flower girl a few months ago for my sister. Both the bride and FG wore ivory dresses and then the FG dress had a blue sash that matched the blue sash that was on the bridesmaids dresses.

When I was a flower girl many many many moons ago, my dress was white just like the brides with a purple sash that matched the bridesmaids dresses.

My daughter was in three weddings as the flower girl, and always wore a white dress. I think the idea of a white dress with a sash that matches the wedding colors is super cute though. If you google flower girls dresses I think you will find most of them are white. It is what seems traditional to me, but obviously, whatever the bride wants the most! ~A.~

I think it should match the bride with a touch of color from the bridesmaids dresses, JMHO. Honestly though, it is totally up to the Bride and whatever she wants. It probably doesn't help much but I thought I would throw in my two cents. :)

My daughter was just flower girl for my sister - she wore the same dress her sister wore (her sister was junior bridesmaid - her dress was a sky blue with brown sash) - in the same shade of ivory as the bride - then she wore a chocolate brown sash - which matched my dress (the matron of honor) - it was cute!

Match the bridesmaids, or at least a shade of the color they're wearing. My daughter was in a wedding where bridesmaids wore dark/navy blue and the flower girls wore baby blue.
I think the idea was that they wanted the bride to be the only one in white. And, she said she wanted them to look like little girls, not little brides :-)
