I'd just be happy if my child wouldn't drink juice. It's not something that they need. As long as he is drinking his formula and some water he'll be more than fine. My kids only get a cup of juice a day, if that, and it is so watered down that my daughter (who's three) won't drink it anyway. It'll save on their teeth and help you enforce healthy snacks and treats as they get older.

Neither of my kids like juice. THey are 3 1/2 and 15 mos. They've never been wild about it, it really isn't a big deal. Don't worry about it.

Hi K.,
Why do you want him to drink juice? At 7 months he doesn't need juice. Formula or breast milk is the only liquid (other than water) that he needs. Be happy he won't drink juice. Juice is filled with sugar and most peds. will tell you to limit any juice.

I have a 6 year old that has never liked to drink juice (but my other three kids do like to drink it occassionally). So, skip the juice and give your son something different.

Dont worry juices are filled with sugar and water have known to make children teeth go bad even if said 100% juice. Have him eat whole fruits instead much better for him.White sugar is bad natural brown cane sugar is the best and your body uses it better.

Why do you feel the need to give juice if your child doesn't want it? My DD is almost 2 and just now is getting into juice.

If he doesn't want juice thats actually good. He doesn't need juice. He's still soo young, trust me stay away from juice for as long as you can. Water is much better anyways. So I wouldn't push juice at all.
