I agree with a previous response, could be ectopic pregnancy...you should really go see a doctor at least to be on the safe side.

Please call your doctor. My friend had her tubes tied and then she got pregnant. It would be my suggestion to be safe and have it checked out.

i would see a DR. i know mine warned me about the possibility of heavier than usual periods due to hormones then they should even out. they never did they stay heavy for 6 days then slow on the 7th and thats it. my cousin had periods like yours then she started missing them all together, it turned out to be stress and once she got on meds to help deal with that and low dose birth control she has been fine since. gl

Tubals can lead to all sorts of period problems. They usually don't worry about it unless it's constant bleeding. Or if you have bleeding when you shouldn't be. If it's just stopping and starting and stopping again during the normal cycle time, they won't offer much help. They may do a blood test to check your hormones and thyroid and possibly an ultrasound to check for fibroids and cysts. If you're truly worried, make an appointment and get the tests done. It would be more for your peace of mind than anything else. I hope it works out. I know what a huge pain having cycle issues can be. :o)

S., go to the doctor, I had the same symptoms back in October and I was pregnant in my right tube, I had to have emergency surgery and my tube ruptured right as they put me on the table. Don't take any chances get an ultrasound and pregnancy test ASAP. A.

Hi,

There are so many things it COULD be, it's better to see a doctor. Then, it could be an absolute fluke and mean nothing.

See a doctor.

Good luck!!

Hi S., I had this happen not so long ago and I went to my OBGYN. I felt like a heal asking for period/birth control issues since my tubes were tied but my periods were also doing this stopping and starting nonsense. He put me on a low dose birth control pill and it evened me out. I only had to take them for a bout 5 months and when I stopped my periods have been normal ever since. Do not tolerate this irregular period garbage. Go to your Dr. and get to the bottom of it. Hormones can get all out of whack. Good Luck, K. J.

S., not gross at all. I too went through the same thing, and put up with it for a year of having a period on again and off again.
Finally, I went to the doctor and got back on the pill. I know it sucks thinking of having to take that daily again, with having ones tubes tied (I was thinking, why should I have to do this, wasn't that the point of having them tied?). The main point of going back on the pill is to get your menstrual cycle regulated again. IT helps wonders!!!
I have been back on the pill (yes, my tubes are tied too) for almost a year, and am going to try to stop them again. My husband is not thrilled at the idea (I get moody with changes).
But overall, I suggest you tell your Doctor, and see what he/she suggest and go from there. For me though...just getting back on the pill did it.
Hope all goes well!!
Carol

I remember a lady I know who had her tubes tied and had the same symptomes, she had a miscarriage. Whatever is your case, don't let go, call your female doctor...Better silly than sorry.

Stress will do it to you every time. Sometimes you do not realize how must stress you are under. Look deeper into youself and what is going on daily. Think about what you worry about. Also, you are getting older and your periods do change. I started getting the lower back pain several years ago. Usually mine come a few days before the period and the first day or so of the period.

Always remember there are so many things that affect our bodies. Women's bodies are so different and each individual woman is different. Listen to your body.

I would let this one go, and if you have any trouble on your next cycle, go to the Dr. It happens to me all the time since I had my tubes tied, and my Dr checked for everything from thyroid to depression. If you are stressed out or going through anything, that wont help. And YES depression WILL cause your cycle to be messed up. I went 6 MONTHS without a period! Now I havent missed one in 7 months, like clockwork. So I would wait till next month, unless the pain gets bad.

Hmmm....this brought memories of the same back to me at
about the same age..see your dr. about this prob. my dr. said it was like an early menopause, and he gave me some
kind of pill to help, then I had to go in once a mo. to
report on any change after my period..then several mo's.
later I got preg. and had a baby girl at the age of 30..
I wanted a 3rd. child anyway, and was thrilled to have a
daughter after 2 boy's...my period's became normal after
the birth of that child..I'm not suggesting this for you but it worked for me..and the med. didn't have anything to do with me getting preg.! Good Luck...Granny

If it is something that you are worried about don't hesitate to all your doctor. It may be nothing but then again if all you are using is that your tubes are tied it may be more. I have talked and done so much research on getting your tubes tied and I would never do it myself. Listen to your body and do what you think is best. It is better to have your mind at ease. Good luck.

I wouldnt get too worried right now. I might call my dr and see if they think i should com in. If it happens or is non exsistent again then you might need to worry a bit. although i noticed you are working on your black belt in, sometimes ann increase in physical activity can decrease the periods or make them non exsistent.
Good luck
