Just wondering if anyone can recommend a Q&A site (similar to Mamapedia's format) for recipes/cooking/baking related questions.
www.epicurious.com has a Forum section under the "Communtity" tab. Just what I was looking for!

This is not a Q&A type thing, but I love Cooks Illustrated. They have a magazine, several cookbooks and a web site. The web site is not free. See if your library has some books or the magazine.
What I love about Cooks Illustrated is they decide to make an item. Then they try all sorts of different ways to make it. They then decide on what tastes best. I've gotten excellent recipes from there, but also grown my own cooking knowledge about why certain things happen.
Not all the recipes work for us as a family with young children. But I've got some real winner recipes that people rave over.
Use allrecipes often and foodnetwork. Betterhomes and garden has some great online recipes.
no, but allrecipes.com has great reviews by people who have tried the recipe and also made alterations to the recipe. I will be watching your responses, I would love a site like you are asking about = )
