Prosobee Formula

My son that is 6 months and he is on prosobee formula. I was watching something on t.v. last night and they say that prosobee isn't good for infants to be on? They were saying that it has estrogen in it and that when boys get older that they might be more feminine like women. My other son who is 3 now was on this formula. I was wondering if any of you have had any trouble with this formula. They say that girls hit puberty earlier when there on it. I was just wondering? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

What can I do next?

I am a mother of five, 4 boys 19, 15, 12, 6 and 1 girl 3. All of my children went from breast feeding to prosobee successfully. My son's are all healthy happy pure boys! My daughter is also a healthy happy girly girl. I come from a very large family and several members started their boys and girls on prosobee. I am confident in sharing with you that each one of their children have never shown any signs of what you heard. I hope this helps you.

I am concerned as to what you heard. It is inaccurate as there is no estrogen added to formula. Soy just enhances the production of estrogen. Definitely talk with you doctor.

My son is now 16 years old and drank prosobee for the first 1-1/2 years of his life (that long due to allergies). There isn't ANYTHING feminine about him. I wouldn't worry.

Prosobee was the only formula my middle child could stomach. He is 9 now, and believe me, he's ALL BOY! He's healthy, happy, and dirty! LOL

I would talk to your dr. It just sounds like you need to check with them about your babies formula before switching it around. They are going to know what is best.
