Try Group USA in Grapevine Mills mall - I actually bought a bridemaids dress there recently - it was $125, but they have a wide range of styles and prices.

Also, Special Occassion Dresses off of Preston and Campbell (I think...).

We always had the best luck at Dillard's. Also, NorthPark has several stores that cater to the teen-age girl. Those stores have nice selections, too. Although those speciality stores can be a bit pricey. Many folks rave about Terry Costa,; but, we never had any luck there. However, lots of folks have; so, you might give it a shot.

Whatchamacallit at Preston and Beltline have beautiful dresses. They have shoes, jewelry, wraps, gloves purses and everything imaginable. They also have fittings and alterations there. I bought my daughter's dress, jewelry, purse and shoes, got 10% off jewelry, bag and shoes, plus asked for a disc. on dress, which I did get some off and the wrap was included.

Special Ocassions has the same thing, but I preferred Whatchamacallit.

Good luck.

I have three prom dresses that are a size 5. One I paid $240 for because it has (handsown)dark red beads that fade into black coving the dress.
I wore it once, and I'll sell it to you for $120. or less!

The others are pink (off the shoulder) and a blue corset dress!

I can e-mail you pictures if your daughter is a size 5 or smaller.
Let me know,

I am selling a red floor-length formal that I got from David's Bridal last year and never wore (it was for a wedding). Originally $130, size 6 - empire waist. PM or email me if interested - ____@____.com.

JCPenney's has an outstanding Prom department and their prices are very reasonable.
