Progesterone Pills?

My doctor put me on progesterone pills to help things along with my pregnancy because I've miscarried twice in the past year and a half. I'm just curious if anyone else has taken the pills and how you felt. My tummy usually feels pretty quesy after taking them and I do make sure to eat foot before taking the pill which I have to take 2 times a day. Thank goodness I only have to take them for another week and a half!

So What Happened?™

Well, for the last four days I have felt fantastic and I still have one week left of the preogesterone pills. I'm beginning to wonder if it was due to morning sickness! :)

the reason they make you nauseous is that is the hormone we naturally produce during pregnancy that makes us nauseous... i never did the pills, both my OB and MFM(as well as most research) feel that the suppositories, because they act locally, are MUCH more effective than the pills or injections. hope you're feeling better soon and you have a successful pregnancy this time!

Progesterone cream would eliminate the problem with quesiness, but conventional doctors may not be into the creams. My daughter-in-law and I have used progesterone cream--her to help sustain a pregnancy and me for my hormone imbalances. There were absolutely no side-effects at all.

I took them, too, but I think my queasiness was mostly my morning sickness. Hang in there!

yep, they're nauseating!

I took them for the same reason and they did make my stomach feel icky as well as wipe me out. I was sooooo tired. I took them through the first tri and I think I would request them if I get pregnant again. I think they made a difference. Once I got to second tri I stopped and all went well. Hope yours goes well too!
