My son goes to Maranatha preschool at GracePoint church in western Shawnee. It just opened at this location in January. We had him at a different preschool prior to this and he is doing so much better since we switched him! Let me know if you would like some contact info. Good luck!

My kids go to Valley View Methodist at 95th and Antioch. I was referred by several neighbors around me who talked highly of it. It's a great school and has a waiting list, the director is good with the kids. I'm not sure if this is too far away for you or not but thought I'd mention.

One of the best in Jo Co is Rolling Hills Preschool. Their open enrollment starts March 3 at 8AM & there usually is a line so I would go immediately to visit & decide before March 3. Lots of people drive in there from all over. They are located at 9300 Nall. The church tele is ###-###-####

i have my daughter enrolled in a class that is through the Olathe school district. It is very reasonable in price, and is geared towards 4 year olds getting ready for Kindergarten next year. they have two locations, one that i think is in N. olathe. they have jr. and sr. in highschool that are a part of the class as well, learning early childhood and participating in lessons and leadership. try calling the early childhood center to see if there are still spots available. we went and observed and it looks like a great place for learning! ###-###-####.

JCPRD has a wonderful program. You can go to www.jcprd.com for information. Once on the website go to childcare and click on Preschool. The one we used was at 17501 Midland Drive in Shawnee. It looks like they are going to be haveing a open house at all locations April 2, 6:30pm-7:30pm. I feel this program more than prepared my daughter for kindergarten. She is now in the first grade and is reading on a 3rd grade level. I truely believe it is because she got such a good start at a young age. I have two younger daughters that I am planning on sending to the JCPRD program as well. I really hope this helps! Best of Luck!!

My son went to Adventure Time Preschool at the Shawnee Nazarene Church, located at 55th and Quivira in Shawnee. I absolutely loved it, and so did he. We are not Nazarene, but that didn't matter. Very good preschool and I would highly recommend it! My friend sent her son there and loved it too!

My daughter is attending Maranatha Christian Academy. This is her second year there, and will be going to Kindergarten there next year. We love the school, Mrs, Starr, her teacher is amazing. Very loving and affection but at the same time gets them in check. I highly recommend it, and the christian teaching is great.
