Preschool in West Highlands Ranch or South Littleton
My almost 3 year old is signed up for preschool starting in 2 weeks, but he has to be potty trained. We've been working on it, but he still has never gone in the potty. I'm looking for possible back-ups in case he can't go this fall. Does any one know of a preschool or mom's day out program who will take a 3 year old that isn't potty trained? Thanks.
So What Happened?™
I officially gave up my son's preschool spot a couple days ago. I am not going to enroll him in anything right now. I will use drop in child care when I need it. If he is potty trained and a spot at our preschool opens up, I may send him mid-year.

I highly recommend Grace Presbyterian Preschool. They don't require potty training, and have been fabulous. My daughter is in their Pre-K program this year and has attended the preschool for the last two years. They have a two day option, which is really nice. The website is http://www.gracecolorado.com/ and click on the Education tab. It's at Arapahoe and Broadway.

Bethany Busy Bee Preschool is awesome, and they don't require the kids to be potty trained. I am the mother of five, and I have taught there for 26 years. We have one opening in the 2 1/2-3 year old M/W class, and several openings in our Friday MDO class. Come check us out! ###-###-####

If you're interested, I run a home preschool and we have all almost 3 year olds (my son turns 3 in September) or just turned 3 year olds here (I live on White Oak St in West HR). I wish I could help you more, but right now I only have openings on Wednesday and Thursday. Let me know if you'd like more info!

Hi!
Foothills Preschool & Kindergarten. Just off of C-470 & Bowles in Littleton (West side of C-470)
They take kids who aren't potty trained - AND - help you train!! My daughter went there for 2 yrs and my son is just starting his second year. I believe they still have openings.
They are wonderful! You can do 2 or 3 or 4 day programs. 3 hrs in the morning or longer. It gives me time 3 mornings a week and I still get to spend the afternoons with my kids.
It also gives them a great start for Kindergarten as they work on reinforcing what you teach at home - numbers, letters, colors - and helps them get socialized with other kids!
Good luck --

Hi K.-
I sent both of my girls from the age of 1 yr. to littleton united methodist church. My youngest just started kindergarten this year. Their program is called Great Escape. It is a wonderful program with excellent staff. It is also very very resonably priced! It is also a whole day preschool (9:30 - 3:00). I had such a great experience there! Good luck.

Douglas County preschools do not require children to be potty trained. Go to the Douglas County Preschool website for locations close to you, and call the preschool office in Lone Tree to see what openings/ waiting lists are like.

I agree that you should try Douglas County Preschools and/or St. Thomas More, they have a parents day out and a preschool. My daughter went to PDO there last year and we loved it. This year for preschool we chose to go to a different school because the times were better for us. But check it out!
