Preschool in the Keller Area
I have a daughter that just turned 3 on the 11th of Jan. and i think she would really benefit from attending a preschool. We are new to the area so if anyone could recommend a good preschool in the Keller area that would be great!

Ditto on Discovery School. We've been there 5 years total between the 2 kids & their Hig Scope cirriculum is great!Wonderful teacher, direction, parent organization & outreach classes for moms & families, too.

Hi Rebekah,
I've heard great things about Harvest Academy and Messiah Lutheran schools. I haven't personally had contact there but I've got friends who have kids there and love it!

Another Ditto on Discovery School
See this for further info from someone talking about enrolling. We LOOOOOOVVVVEEEE it and I went to every single preschool in this area. I am a teacher and very picky. I drive 30 minutes to get there because I am just not as close as you.

Hi Rebekah - my 4 year-old daughter has been attending the Primrose on Davis since she was 20 months. They have a great curriculum there, and the kids definitely are there to learn. It's not a typical daycare. She just turned 4, and she knows who our Governor and President are, and of course, all the other fun things a little one should know.
Welcome to the neighborhood.

Rebekah,
I went around and visited a few pre-schools in the Keller area last year, and here's what I found...1st Baptist Keller (on 1709) has a very warm environment and is focused on play learning as well as a good curriculum. Harvest Preschool (on 377) seemed a little more academic and I've heard good things about them (I wasn't as concerned with the academics). I have a few friends who go to Fellowship of the Parks preschool (on N.Beach) and all of them are happy with it. I liked the environment there. I've also heard good things about the Met preshcool, and I liked their environment too. We chose 1st Baptist Keller and were very pleased with the program. My child was also prepared for Kindergarten, which was one of my concerns. Hope this helps a little.

Hi Rebekah-
My name is Elaine and I live in Keller too. I have a 5 year old daughter and an almost 3 year old (May) daughter . My oldest currently attends Discovery School in NRH which is not too far of a drive. It's through Smithfield United Methodist Church on Smithfield and Chapman off of Rufe Snow if that helps. It came highly recommended as well, as I was new to TX and my daughter was also 3 when she started school.
My daughter loves it! The teachers are AWESOME. The staff is great too! In fact, I just got notice that the re-registration for us is in late Feb and then opens to Public soon after. You can contact the Director Elaine Huff at ###-###-#### and schedule a "walk through" and checkout the classes during school hours.
School Days/Hours are: T-W-TH 9am--2pm .
Message me if you have any questions.
