Prenatal Education

Hello Moms! :)

I am a first time mother and it just occurred to me today that in 97 days my little one should be arriving! My how the time flew by! I'm geting alittle nervous now because it seems like there's so much to learn still! I've been reading, but I'm feeling really unprepared! Can anyone recommend some classes to take and places in the Inland Empire where I can find these classes? Preferable as close to Corona as possible.
The advice is greatly appreciated!

What can I do next?

We just had a baby on march 31st and took our classes through corona regional hospital called prepared childbirth it was perfect and the teacher was amazing. There is a 6 week and 4 week class but you have to sign up as soon as possible but they will fit you in no matter what cause we waited a little to long and they still got us in. You can sign up by calling - ###-###-#### it costs $40 there is more information at coronaregional.com

I'm not sure about your area, but I went to some great classes at the hospital I delivered at. They had a grandparent's tea, a father's class along with the the parenting classes and took a tour of the hospital to get acclimated with their policies and procedures. I recommend checking at your local hospital or your doctor's office.

I would 110% recommend watching a DVD called "The Happiest Baby on the Block" by Dr. Harvey Karp. Lifesaving swaddling lesson, as well as comforting tips that are invaluable! Watch it now and then right before baby is born and even after so you're doing all the things he teaches.

check in with corona hosp on main st. They have a wonderfull program there that teaches everyday care for your new baby and breast feeding technique. They are great there. call and ask for the Maternity ward director. Haver fun
