Pregnant with No Signs at All. Am I Lucky or Should I Be Worried?

So I am probably just overthinking it, but I am getting nervous. With my DS, I had really bad morning sickness starting at about 5 weeks and my breasts hurt so badly I had to keep my bra on round the clock. This time around, I am in my 6th week and have no classic pregnancy signs at all. No sickness, no soreness... maybe a little more tired than usual, but that is hard to really measure. Am I just really lucky, or is this something I shoud be concerned about? I did have my blood work done on the 28th. I assume that would have shown if there was anything wrong at that time, right?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thank you all. I am still extremely nervous, but it does help to hear of so many people with little or no symptoms have beautiful, healthy babies! It would be wonderful to have a girl this time. I just have to keep the faith and be thankful I can eat this time! I pretty much had to live on bread, potato, and plain pasta last time! UPDATE_ Just had a beautiful and healthy baby girl!!!

Hi J.,
Though I'm a first time mom, I would say there is NOTHING to worry about.. you are blessed!! :) Other than being EXTREMELY tired in my 1st tri, I had no morning sickness, no tender breasts, no cravings and no ill feelings towards food or any negative symptoms, and have made it to my 28th week of carrying a baby boy :) Congrats and good luck!!

Lucky! I am on my third pregnancy and each time I have been symptomless, with the exception of not having periods and being a little tired. It never seemed real to me until the first sonogram where I could see the tiny heartbeat soaring!

As far as ole wives tales, I wouldn't count on them. My first child is a girl and then I had a boy, and now I'm expecting a boy.

Congrats and Good Luck!!

I was 11 weeks pregnant with my daughter before going to the doctor to get confirmation because I had no symptoms other than being tired. When I became pregnant the second time I had all the symptoms immediately; nausea, sore breasts, exhaustion - BOTH times I had perfectly healthy GIRLS! Every pregnancy is different, so you shouldn't worry. It also doesn't necessarily mean that you are going to have the opposite sex if your symptoms are different. Best of luck to you and may you have a healthy baby!

Hi J.,

Well, like I'm sure everyone has told you, every pregnancy is different. Maybe you will get lucky this time around and you won't get any morning sickness, or maybe your morning sickness won't show up until a little later in your pregnancy. I know I personally took a few pregnancy tests after I already had a positive, just because I didn't "feel" pregnant.

Good luck! C.

I hate to be a downer or worry you but I had no signs with 2 pregnancies and both times miscarried around 6-7 weeks.
I had the sore breasts and very hormonal with my 2 healthy pregnancies.
If you notice any spotting at all, get to your OB GYN.
I also had blood work with my pregnancies that I miscarried on and it showed I was pregnant and my HCG levels reached 1000 right before the miscarriage.
Just be very careful and call the doc to see what your HCG levels were.
Good luck and hope everything works out.
