With my first two kids I had a period the first three months and never knew I was pregnant til I was almost 3 1/2 months along with both of them. My third pregnancy I only had one period and then found out. So it could happen. I have heard that some women have them.

a friend of mine once commented on having her period while being pregnant. However i think this odd because, your period after all is the break down of...if you are for sure pregnant and spotting, or bleeding heavily would call your OB or go to an ER. You could be just stressed ( light spots) or maybe having losing baby ( heavy bleeding) either way its prolly safe to ask a doctor just in case

This is rare and you should talk with your dr for sure about this. you may need some hormoans to prevent this.
Not to scare you but there are certain types of female cancers that cause HCG in the blood and urine and can show a positive pregnancy test.(this is rare also) so make sure by blood and ultra sound that everything is ok.

I thought I was having my periods but it turned out not to be a period. I also found out that I was pregnant and did not know it because I had irrgular bleeding. They were not periods and by an ultrasound, I found out I was pregnant and the bleeding eventually stopped. The doctor suspected that I had a tubal pregnancy. Check with your doctor.

Ihave a friend that when she went in for her yearly check the doctor told her that she was pregnant. Also that she was having a boy (she was about 5 months along in her pregancy).

My best friend had this happen to her. She was 5 months pregnant before she realized it because she was still having periods. They were irregular though, she bled more than once a month. She actually thought there was something very wrong with her until she went to the doctor and he told her she was pregnant.

I bled the entire first trimester of my first pregnancy, but I wouldn't call it "periods"

My mom would always tell me about how she didnt know she was pregnant because she had regular periods, until she started to grow and then realized, hey this is not usual, and now-I am still unusual(lol)
Let your doctor know just to be sure of a clean bill of health. My mother later learned with her second pregancy (which also came with regular periods) that she had cystic growths in her uterus.
Not that one is tied to the other-just to be on the safe side.

My friend had her period all threw her pregnancy. Until the 9th month even. There wasn't a thing wrong with her or the baby. She didn't know she was pregnant until she started showing... It happens quite often apparently.

Yes, it's not unusual if you regularly have a heavy period. Still, talk to your doctor just in case.
