Pregnant?? - Cincinnati,OH

I'm not sure if I could be pregnant or not and was wanting to get some feed back if you ladies don't mind :-)
Normally my period ends the day I started the month before. My last period started Feb27th and I just put that down as my March period because I had one around the first of Feb I believe (forgot to write it down o.O). It's now April 3rd and I STILL haven't started and I'm starting to get kinda worked up over this. My husband and I were going to start later this summer/fall to try for another child but right now wouldn't be the best of timing as we are looking to move in the next few months and all the craziness thats going to go along with it just wouldn't be that fun. I don't want to say I'm "scared" just this wouldn't be the best of timing and my daughter was an unplanned pregnancy and I would like to have one that is planed :-( *SIGH* sorry to keep going on. If I am pregnant it's going to be great just could have come at a better time and I don't have anyone to talk to about this. I mentioned the late period to hubby and hes not freaking out but I can't say anything to his mom or mine because of the GRANDMA excitement and then if I'm not it would just be a big let down. OK I'll stop rambling now {OMG thats a symptom of pregnancy too isn't it?? :-O lol }

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Well I took a test and it says I'm not pregnant and thats cool. :-) Thanks for all the answers to my post ladies lol. just kinda needed someplace to vent (thank you). It's all good though, we're still going to try later this summer and I don't know why but I still haven't started my period yet lol. oh well.

I recently had the same experience... and the same emotions about it. Get a test and take it...will put you at ease once you know what is going!!

Take pregnancy test!

Awe, S., the girls are right, take a test,that's the only way you're gonna know. Let me tell you, my theory is everything happens for a reason. If you are it may be rough but you'll be so happy when the baby arrives! I go pg after I turned 40, obviously not a planned pregnancy. It was not easy telling my hubby and he wasn't reallyt thrilled for about the first 2 weeks. But after that he changed and was thrilled. She's turned out to be the best thing that's happened to us.

S.,
Go get a test.

Hi S.-

Well, this is one of those things where you just don't know. You could be pregnant, but it also sounds like your period is inconsistent. And add that to the stress of all of a sudden thinking you are pregnant....that could throw the whole thing off. I would suggest to take a few home tests. If they come back conflicting each other (one positive, one negative), go to the doctor. I just had a scare last month and I went to my regular doctor (not obgyn) and he gave me a blood test to find out for sure.

I wouldn't put it off any longer. Hopefully you'll have an answer soon.

S....you are actually late, so I'd just go take a pg test. Good luck!!!

I got an EPT test. I believe that was the one I used. It was a pink box and is able to tell right after your missed period. Thats what I would do. It was really accurate for me! Good luck! Hopeeverything works out for the best!

When all else fails run to the corner drugstore for a first response pregnancy test :) And you're not rambling, just nervous, i've been there too. but one quick test took care of all the jitters and i was just a couple days late from extra exercise from working in the yard,, it's amazing the little things that can throw your cycle off by a couple days,, exercise, stress, diets,,, change in seasons even :)

S., you are too funny! You never really know! Keep in mind, February was a shorter month, then you had day light savings time(I know, only an hour, but it does change your body) and with all the changes to the weather lately. I do that to myself about every 4 months. And I think I just work myself up so much or don't track it well enough that I am late, or just think I was. But if you were going to try in a few months any way, and you could be now, don't worry to much, relax. I had a sister go through building new house and move when she was 8 months. And she is always high strung. You sound better than her. Good luck with moving and up coming baby this year, or next! Keep in touch and let us know.
