Well, your best way to find out is to grab a "First Response" test. You are six days away from your period, so that means you can take the test tomorrow. If this is just spotting, then I would say it's possible that it's implantation bleeding. Especially if your cycle is usually very regular and you're TTC. Pick up a test kit (usually contains two) take one tomorrow and if negative take another one in two days. If neither is positive, go see your doctor. Bleeding between periods should be reported. It's possible that a blood test by your doctor would reveal a pregnancy that the OTC test missed.

Are you normally very regular?
Is this a light period or normal. If it is implantation bleeding it will generally be lighter. I don't know if you know this but if you are not pregnant right now one for sure way of knowing whether you are ovulating is to look at your vaginal discharge. I know that may seem gross but when you are ovulating the mucous is very stretchy and clear. A lot like snot. That sounds so gross but is very very true. Must go feed my little one.

Good morning J.. My husband and I recently stopped using birth control and the first month, my period came about 5 or 6 days earlier than it would have if I had still taken birth control. So in my experience, Yes it can come early which is super inconvenient! While I am certainly no doctor, if it seems like a normal period it probably is. If it doesn't, I would take a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side. Good luck with #2!

It could be spotting from your period. I could be implantation of an embryo into the uterus, happens to LOTS of women. You won't be sure until your period is scheduled, but usually if it lasts more than a day, it's not pregnancy, to be sure take your prenatal vitamins (you should take these continually while you're trying to get pregnant as well as while pregnant) don't drink, etc. Good Luck...I'm waiting to see about this month too!!
