Pregnancy/Maternity Pillow
I am 14 weeks pregnant with twins and beginning to experience discomfort when sleeping. I know that I will not be able to sleep on my back for much longer and will need to purchase a maternity pillow, but there are so many different styles available. If you have used one and can recommend a brand/style, I would appreciate it!
Thanks!

I just had my son three weeks ago and sometimes I wish my husband would still let me use my huge maternity pillow! The Leachco All Nighter Total Pillow was absolutely awesome - especially since I'm a tummy sleeper and had a really hard time adjusting to sleeping on my side. Here's the link for it at Amazon.

ditto what tsw said about the body pillow, its the best. if you are tall, you might want another regular pillow between your knees, i am 5' 4" and the body pillow just made it, but the end got kind of flattened and so sometimes i used another between my knees, because i liked to have it all the way up top too, between my boobs as they got huge. congrats and i wish you a great pregnancy

K.,
Read all of your feedback! I have a snoogle, but other than the convenience of not having to move four pillows every time I woke up during the night (pretty much every 1 - 1.5 hours at the last 2 months), it was rather expensive, and I could have used the $50 elsewhere.
If you are crafty - you could MAKE your own! Think of a tube of pillow material, about as long as you are tall. Be able to tuck it under your head (it replaced my pillow since I was not on my back), around your tummy or back, and between your legs (circulation is a GOOD thing! :)
Good luck, and congratulations!

I used the tempurpedic pillow from brookstone (the long one) not sure if they call it a body pillow. Not only was it very helpful during my pregnancy (my twins are 3 1/2yrs now) but my husband loves it. Good luck.

I loved the Snoogle (snugle?), can't remember the spelling. It is a long pillow that you can curl up or wrap however needed for support.

HI! Never used the maternity pillow just a well stuffed body pillow. That has worked for me with the past 2 children and is still working for this pregnancy! A.

Hi Kelly
I used the back n belly pillow when I was preggers. It was absolutely the best! It is shapped like a u, SO IT SUPPORTS YOUR back, belly, and head. You can put part of it between your knees too.It made it so easy to roll over in the night because it was alredy there. When I used pillows, I had to move all of them each time I moved.
I got it at onestepahead.com It is $69.95, and worth every blessed penny! My husband actually tried to steal it from me! I recently started using it again, because I was waking up with back pain...no more! The only down fall to this pillow was washing the cover. I found it to be difficult to get it back on after. I took regular pillow cases and cut open the closed end. I slipped it on to the part where you put your head. Then I only had to was wash that all the time. I can't tell you how much of a difference this made for me. I think you will love it!
Good luck with the twins!

I have the full-size Boppy 24/7 maternity pillow and love it. My midwife recommended the Snoogle pillow, which I've heard great things about too....it looks really comfy. (I didn't get the Snoogle because the store didn't have it in stock the day I went to get one. I was so uncomfortable and desperate to get some sleep that I got the Boppy because that's what they had. It turned out ok because the Boppy is very comfortable and has gotten me through 2 pregnancies now.) I think they sell both at Babies R Us.
