Pregnancy Line - Rancho Cucamonga,CA

How long did it take for your "pregnancy" line to disappear on your stomach? Mine doesn't seem to be fading and it's been five weeks!

What can I do next?

Mine took a very long time, like 5 or 6 months if not longer. I remember thinking that it would just never go away. Even when I lost all the weight and my body was pretty much back to normal the line was still there. However now my son is 18 months and I can't even remember when it went away but it is gone.

Hi M..

It took several months for my pregnancy line to disappear.

-------Sadly, it's taking MUCH longer for other pregnancy-related "side effects" to go away. Lol.

HTH!

Mine took about a year to go away...it seems like once I started breastfeeding my little guy less which was about when he was 1, it went away completely.

if your talking about stretch marks sorry to tell you but they won't go away.

I didn't keep track of how long it took, but I assure you it will go away.

Oh, you'll have to be patient... mine took about 8-9 months :)

Mine took about six months to fade away completely. Congrats on your new baby boy!

Funny you ask that, I was noticing this morning that you can still see mine and my son is 3 yrs old. It's not dark, but still there. I believe it also depends on your skin coloring. My friend who is a true blond, had a very light line and it's gone now. So, it's normal and different for everyone. Don't worry. ;-)

Mine took almost a year. Or maybe I just thought I could still see it. I admit to obsessing about it myself for several months. But my daughter is 2 1/2 and it's been gone for some time now. :)

My daughter is going on 5 months & mine is still there. It has faded a little though

Hi M..

I'm 9 months postpartum and it's still slightly there, but it has faded a lot. I've been told and I've read that it can take up to a year for it to fade and it actually never really goes back to the way it was initially. I'm going to be honest and say that I was mortified when the line was still there and I still looked about six months pregnant for the first four months.

Don't stress too much about it. It just takes some time, but you're looking at several months versus just a few weeks.

Hope that clears things up!

Congratulations and welcome to motherhood!
