What has pregnancy zapped out of you?Do you sleep better while pregnant, not me i'm tired but it's the tired where you just can't sleep. My face is horrid pimples on cheeks down to my chin/chest.My appetite will it ever come back.I just want to stay home & clean what I have become behind on & that is pretty much everything.I have already spoken to my midwife & had a full OB panel done again to make sure there is no medical reason other than pregnancy.I love being pregnant, but wish there were no side effects from it.
I see a dermotologist for my face I have yet to see her during pregnancy the medication i'am prescribed outside of pregnancy clears up blemishes, but she is on my list to call for an appt.Rest all day long my kids let me while they play.I drink lots of water, have tried Sleepytime but don't always remember to drink it nightly.Help from hubbs ya I get it here & there he is cooking dinner tonight for us & guess what i'm going up to my bed to get some zzz's.If he says anything about the house or laundry he'll hear it from a grouchy bare footed pregnant mama...

What can I do next?

Pregnancy, does make you tired. Wiped out.
It did me. Both times.
So, rest. Take a nap.
The body and you needs it.

I slept worse when pregnant.
It is common.
Appetites change.
BUT stay hydrated, with water.

Don't worry about cleaning. I mean, your Husband can help, right?
They should.

Make sure your prenatal is really absorbing. Many don't! If you are not getting the right nutrition you will have NO energy. Also check the ORAC value of your vitamins. Antioxidants are necessary.

Chiropractic care will help too. Congratulations on your little one!

I am 17 weeks pregnant and feel like all I do is lay on the couch or sit in the recliner most of the day. I'm a SAHM. I get occasional bursts of energy and do the things that have to be done but I'm in bed as soon as we put my daughter to bed about 8:00. Most nights I sleep through the night but the last week I've woken up around 2:00 am and can't fall back asleep. It's maddening because I'm so tired! I feel your pain...

I was tired almost the whole time i was pregnant except at the end. My OBGYN also was testing me for this & that, making me feel guilty almost or abnormal for being tired. I slept more than I ever have, sometimes was late for work because I couldn't get up. Afterwards, talking to many moms I realized that it is different for every woman and every pregnancy ... so as long as you have ruled out medical issues I wouldn't worry about it. I myself concluded that the problem was - I was really tired:) Creating life is exhausting. Get as much sleep as you can because lord knows you will need the energy stores for later. Good luck!

I don't know what to tell you..During my last 3 pregnancies, i wasn't tired. i took yoga and meditation classes. I'm 20 years old with a 7 year old boy, a 1 year and 6 month old twin girls, a 9 month old girl expecting another girl on Halloween. i sleep perfectly and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. i have a job and go to college. i should be dead tired but I'm not. during my other pregnancies, i never had zits or pimples. Just calm down. when i feel that i can't handle it anymore, i lock myself in the master bedroom. lie on the floor and mediate with soft music. that really relaxes me. Or sometimes i go to a spa and get a full body massage and facial. try these tips and you wil feel better.

Did you ask your doctor for medicine for your face? You can use some of them when your pregnant. That way you won't have scars on your face after the baby comes.

Get rest. Your body is asking for it. Specially in the first part of being pregnant. Ask the doctor if you can drink cammomile tea - the box says Sleepytime.
