Potty Training DVD

I am starting potty training this coming week with my child who is more than ready. I keep hearing that potty training dvd's are a great addidtion to the training and am looking for other moms who have used them so that I know which one to get or not get. I have heard the sesame street one is good. Thank you so much as always....

I also used Elmo's Potty Time. My daughter loved it and it got her excited about potty training. I would definitely recommend it!

All I could think of when watching the Elmo one was how icky it would be to clean up poop from that Muppet fur! :)

I'm in the same boat as you are...but with my 28 month old little girl. We started when she showed initial interest around 20 months, but she lost interest and I didn't push it either. If he sticks with showing interest and you are diligent about the training, try the Once Upon a Potty DVD. I have been asking around and that is what has been recommended to me...I just bought it online tonight. So good luck to you and your little guy!

My 19 month old daughter loves Elmo's Potty Time. I think my husband picked it up at WalMart.Thanks to ELmo, her favorite xmas present was her training potty;)

My son is 2 and we got a potty and the elmo potty time dvd. He lit up the first time he watched it. I can't say he has started to gain interest in using the potty yet. I don't think he is quite ready. He is not showing the classic signs. However he loves the video. He has gone over and played with the handle to flush the toilet. I think getting the dvd and potty will help him when he is ready to start. Good luck to you
